Military Day Poster Contest - Enter Now!

The Franklin County Agricultural Society invites you to submit posters that show appreciation for our military and love for our country.

★ 1 Electronic submission winner will receive: Choice of two one-day admission passes to the fair OR one one-day ridewristband★ 1 Physical poster winner will receive: Choice of four one-day admission passes to the fair OR two one-day ride wristbandsAccepting entries through July 15th, 2022 5 p.m.Winners announced July 17th, 2022Posters will be on display during Military Appreciation Day, July 21, 2022Contest is open to all ages.There are two ways to enter a poster:1. Electronically - Submitted by email by July 15th 5pm Eastern.a. Poster must be submitted in pdf format. It is recommended that you create your poster with anotherapplication (like PowerPoint, Word, Google Slides, etc.) and print or save to pdf prior to submission.b. These posters should be a standard 8.5 x 11 page size; either landscape or portrait.c. Posters will be displayed in electronic media.d. Submission to: fcascontest@gmail.com; Include name, age and phone number in the email. If contestantis a minor, name and phone number of guardian must also be included.2. Physical Posters - Drop off at the Franklin County Fair Office by July 15th 5pm Eastern.a. Fair office is located at 4100 Columbia St. Hilliard, OH 43026.b. Poster must be on foam board no smaller than 12 x 14 and no larger than 36 x 48. Any sizes in betweenare fine.c. The back of the poster must contain the First and Last name of contestant.d. Posters will be displayed during the fair on July 21st, 2022.e. When submitting poster, contestants must provide the office with a name, age and phone number. Ifcontestant is a minor, name and phone number of guardian must also be included.Winners will be announced via Facebook post on Saturday July 17th at 6 p.m. Eastern. Winner and/or guardian will be notified via phone call so that arrangements can be made to claim prize. Identification must be presented to claim prize.There will be one winner for each class:1. Electronic Winner - Choice of two one-day general admission passes to the fair or one one-day ride wristband.2. Physical Poster Winner - Choice of four one-day general admission passes to the fair or two one-day ridewristbands.*Depending on the number of entries, additional prizes may be awarded by age groups.Additional Rules● Posters must be in good taste, with no use of curse words, suggestive language, images or negativity. Any postersdeemed inappropriate by the organizers will be disqualified.● Posters will be evaluated on originality, topic (appreciation of the United States of America military or love of theUnited States of America), good use of space, and age appropriate work.● By entering this contest you agree that your poster and your name (first and last) can be displayed on thefairgrounds, on social media, in photographs, and all other media outlets with no limitation.● Upon entry, posters become the property of the Franklin County Agricultural Society and will not be returned.● Posters will be displayed outside and may be subject to damage from weather.● The Franklin County Agricultural Society is not responsible for lost or damaged posters.Questions: fcascontest@gmail.com
