TRAFFIC

The grounds are accessible from Interstate 270 by way of Cemetery Road to Leap Road (turn right – north), to Northwest Parkway (turn left – west).  Main Parking is on the left. Go directly ahead to the grounds and can enter through Gates 3,4 or 5.

The grounds are also accessible from Avery Road on the west side of the grounds.  Avery Road will be more convenient for those people coming to the fair from the south and west sides of Hilliard, Brown Township, Prairie Township, Washington Township, and southern Dublin.  If coming in off of Avery Road you will want to turn East onto Northwest Parkway and drive past the Joint Safety Services Building to our main parking areas.

Local area accommodations are available from a variety of hotel and motel chains.  Local restaurants and auto service are also available. 

An ATM machine is available on the grounds.

No dogs permitted on the grounds.  Service dogs are the only exception.

PARKING INFORMATION:

Gate 1 is located on Columbia Street, in Old Hilliard.  There is no parking at this gate and it is used primarily as a walk-in gate for local residents.  Deliveries to the  secretary’s office, to the ice or soft drink concessionaire, to the western midway and to the western commercial area may be made at this gate any day prior to 11:00a.m.

Gate 2 is located near the South side of the Joint Safety Services Building.  There is parking here for handicapped (with appropriate stickers or plates), fair officials, media and special guests (with appropriate sticker).  All other vehicles are prohibited from using this area, due to congestion, which impedes the Fire and Police Departments.  Violators are subject to being towed without notification.  Those persons parking on the street or in the northwest parking lots may find this gate convenient for entry.  There is no vehicle access through this gate.

Gates 3 and 4 are located on North side of the grounds off of Northwest Parkway and can be accessed from our main parking areas. Gate 3 is generally considered our Main Entrance. Those performers who have been parking privliges at the Entertainment Tent should use Gate 3.

Gate 5 is located on the east side of the fenced area of the grounds.  It allows entry to the livestock area, the racing area, the eastern and middle midway, and the eastern commercial area.  Parking is available directly inside this gate for commercial and livestock exhibitors, with proper parking pass.  Vehicles may be admitted through this gate prior to 11:00a.m. daily for deliveries only.  Thereafter only vehicles with an official pass to park will be admitted to park in designated areas.  Unauthorized vehicles parked in the campgrounds, livestock area, or any other unauthorized area is subject to being towed.  Horse Pull, Horse Racing and Rodeo should se this gate. 

**Truck & Tractor pull contestants use Gate 1 (0ff of Columbia Street).

Gate 6- This is a part time- Grandstand Entertianmnet Participants ONLY Gate. It is located off of the East Main Parking Area just South of Gate 5.

**MotoCross & Demolition Derby contestants and wreckers need to use Gate 6. - The only exception is anyone with a LoBoy Trailer- Should use Gate 1. All other participants will be redirected to Gate 6.
